A Year in Review

Since it has been so long since I've posted I decided to catch everyone up and tell you about the 10 most exciting things that happened to me in 2007!

#10 I made it through Spring '07 semester on Dean's List

#9 I took my Bible quiz team to Nationals in New York in June

#8 I took over the Bible quiz team at my church (with the wonderful help of my boyfriend)

#7 I've gained a house to clean (I now have 6)

#6 I've had the opportunity to watch one of my best friends' child grow to be one year old!

#5 I've had the opportunity to help one of my classmates from High School campaign for his election, and have had the privilege of watching him win!

#4 I've caught up with many of my friends from High School

#3 I am nearing the 5 year dating anniversary with my amazing boyfrined Brent

#2 I got a puppy for Christmas this year!!!!!!!!!! (pictures below)

AND THE NUMBER ONE MOST EXCITING THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME IN 2007 IS.....

#1 I moved out into my own house.....a house that I now own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well it's been a couple of week's since I have written and I have some very unfortunate news....

There was a death in mine and Brent's life....

For Valentine's Day I got Brent a fish. He's had a fish tank since he's been alive full of water and working great. The fish tank is beautiful, and he never had a fish.
So, I got him one.

We named it Valentine, then it became known as Bobby Valentine.

It was such a good fish, but unfortunatelly it passed away. The funeral was nice, it was at Flush the Water Church at the corner of Toilet and Bowl. We said our last words, cried our tears and wisked Mr. Valentine into eternity.

This is for you, Bobby Valentine!

The Holland Free Methodist Chapel will be transformed into a romantic and beautiful 5-star restaurant with live romantic dinner music and excellent food.

HFM youth will be our servers and will receive all proceeds for their upcoming trips.

There will be a devotional theme appropriate to the season. This can be an excellent outreach opportunity, so think of your un-churched friends and consider inviting them as your guests in addition to your spouse or date.

This banquet will have a love theme and exposure to what we believe about love as Christians.

Join with us on this lovely evening to hear about love, sing about love, fellowship and witness in love. Sign-up at the Welcome Center or call the church office by Tuesday, February 6. ( 419-865-4640). The price will be $10 per person payable at the door. Singles bring a friend!

Date: Saturday, February 10 @6pm

Come and Support Our Youth. They will be going to Rochester, NY in July for the National Bible Quiz Competition & Tennessee for the International Youth Conference. They need our support and this is such a fun way to support them. You won't be disappointed!
